I would like to introduce my unique approach to franchising. Since 1989 I have been helping entrepreneurs develop “best-of-class” franchise systems, guiding people through the franchise purchasing and accelerating the success of existing franchise systems. In 2006, I founded the FranchiseRight Development Network (www.franchiseright.net), a collaborative effort involving franchise professionals around the country that work together to create, fund, and operate “enterprise level” franchise companies based on the FranchiseRight system, my proprietary methodology. In 2009, I launched the FranchiseRight Institute and virtual incubator, the world’s first private education and support system for the franchise industry. As a member of the National Business Incubation Association (www.NBIA.org), FranchiseRight launched the first co-incubation program in 2010, providing fellow member incubators with the opportunity to expand their local offerings to include franchising (i.e., education, assessment, investment, development, and operations support). Incubators support the development of new businesses and create jobs locally. Franchising accelerates that job growth nationally (the franchise industry is the largest employer in the United States). Under my direction, the FranchiseRight team is now creating the first Franchisor Certification process to help promote Total Organizational Excellence in franchise systems, verifying that they continue to meet those high standards through annual re-certification, and provide the appropriate support for franchisee success.
Following the FranchiseRight inaugural boot camp in June 2009, I selected five very early stage (start-up) franchisors to personally work with me in our Franchise Partnership Program Pilot. Now that the first group of franchisors are ready for their final round of funding and we have fully tested the FranchiseRight System in pre-incubation; FranchiseRight will officially launch their boot camp series in Fall 2010 with additional boot camps throughout the year (www.franchiserightbootcamp.com). As the keynote speaker and head trainer, I will be directing a team of top business coaches and franchise industry professionals who provide small business (entrepreneurs with one business operation or concept as a franchise prototype) with the first “real opportunity” to excel, expand, and exit via franchising.
